So you have your stash. Maybe it's the first stash you've ever bought and you have no idea where to put it.
Or maybe you're a seasoned veteran and you want to explore your options.
After all, why spend your hard-earned money on weed if you're going to store it somewhere that doesn't maintain its quality?
There are a lot of different things to consider: portability, discreetness, size, humidity control, and more.
Truthfully, your best bet is to have more than one storage option so you can customize where you put your bud based on your needs, such as if you have a hefty load that you need to store in your room or in case you only want to bring a little bit of pot to your next hang.

Glass Mason Jars
Glass mason jars are widely used to store a plethora of things, and for good reason.
They keep the smell of your bud from seeping out and protect your delicate flower from being crushed while being passed around.
Just be sure to keep it at least 75% full to avoid having excess air in your jar. It's not a bad idea to have different sized jars to accommodate different stash sizes.
Store your jars in a dark place since they're transparent.
Because glass mason jars are one of the biggest storage options, they're great if you want to use your customized bong and go through your stash like it's nobody's business.
A Cvault
Cvaults are incredibly airtight and have top-notch climate control. They might look familiar because they're very similar to the spice tins people use in their kitchens.
Cvaults keep weed fresher than almost any other storage option. They preserve the terpenes so your weed doesn't lose its invaluable aroma.
But while it might not lose its aroma, you can smell it through the cvault from a mile away, so this isn't the most discreet storage option unless you double up on keeping the musk contained.

Tips & Tricks
Here are some tried and true lessons that we have learned over the years.
Avoid Plastic
A common mistake people make is storing their weed in plastic.
Let's get a little scientific. Plastic creates a static charge that easily tears apart your weed's oh-so-necessary trichomes. Trichomes are the sticky glands that cover your bud and contain the most THC out of the entire plant.
Even though weed is sold in plastic bags, take it out of the bag ASAP. Although it may seem like a discreet solution, keep it out of plastic medicine jars too.
Cure Your Bud
If you're storing your bud for the long-haul, cure it for at least a month. Curing is when you store your bud for weeks to slowly remove moisture from it. To do this, you need to put it in the right container that keeps moisture out.
Any of the options on this list are great for curing your flower.
Curing weed increases its smoothness and potency and makes sure that it's as strong as can be before putting it away for later.
Don't Rule Out Wood
Some people swear by using wood containers.
Just make sure you get a wooden container that is specifically designed for weed. Some are meant for cigars, which hold in moisture that would degrade the quality of your weed.
But with the right wood container, you may be surprised!
